Philadelphia Eagles (6-5) at New York Giants (11-1) 1 PM ET Sunday December 7, 2008 on FOX
The Eagles come into this game after their important win over the Cardinals 48-20 on Thanksgiving while the Giants beat the Redskins 23-7. With their win last week the Eagles climbed back into the NFC Wild Card race and Donovan McNabb saved his job. This is almost a must win game for the Eagles, as if they lose and are only .500, the Wild Card will be a long shot. The Giants have the league's 3rd ranked defense and 4th ranked offense. The Eagles are legit on defense, as they rank 7th and are lucky as top Giants WR Plaxico Burress was recently suspended by the team. Brian Westbrook will have to have a big game for the Eagles to be successful. If McNabb can win this game and lead the Eagles to the playoffs he will have a job in Philly next year, but if he does not his days in the City of Brotherly Love are numbered.

Dallas Cowboys (8-4) at Pittsburgh Steelers (9-3) 4:15 PM ET Sunday December 7, 2008 on FOX
The Steelers come into this game after beat the Patriots 33-10 while the Cowboys beat the Seahawks 34-9 in the annual Thanksgiving game. The Cowboys are back and playing well after a mid-season slump. They will have a hard time scoring, as the Steelers have the league's top ranked defense. The Steelers offensive line has to protect Big Ben, as that has been their weakness this year. Tony Romo and Terrell Owens have to figure out how to move the ball against a Steelers D that also ranks 1st in pass defense. Several Steelers starters on offense are still banged up. If the Cowboys win they can really be in the driver's seat for a NFC Wild Card.

Washington Redskins (7-5) at Baltimore Ravens (8-4) 8:15 PM ET Sunday December 7, 2008 on NBC
Last week the Redskins lost to the Giants 23-7 while the Ravens crushed the Bengals 34-3. This is pretty much a must win game for the Redskins who are reeling losing 3 of their last 4 games. The key match up in this game will be Clinton Portis, who leads the league in rushing, and the Baltimore D, which ranks 2nd in the league. Jason Campbell has been in a funk lately, as has the entire Redskins offense. That is not a good thing facing the ferocious D of the Ravens in Baltimore. The Redskins have the league's 6th ranked defense and they will have to stop Joe Flacco, who has shown he is a legit NFL QB. The Ravens need to win to keep pace with the Steelers in the AFC North.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (9-3) at Carolina Panthers (9-3) 8:30 PM ET Monday December 8, 2008 on ESPN
The Bucs come into this game after beating the Saints 23-20 while the Panthers beat the Packers 35-31. The Bucs are on a roll, as they have won 4 games in a row and Jeff Garcia has played great. The main reason the Bucs are winning is their 4th ranked defense. The Panthers are also playing well, as they have won 5 of their last 6 games. The Panthers D is ranked 11th in the league. Both these teams are tied for 1st place in the NFC South, so the winner will be all along atop the division. Panthers RB DeAngelo Williams (955 yds 11 TD) has to have a good game and keep the Bucs D from only focusing on Jake Delhomme. Also, the Panthers offense line has to open up holes for Williams and protect Delhomme. The Panthers are undefeated at home this season.
