NFC East Betting Preview
The NFC East may be the toughest division in all of football, as every team has a legit shot to win the division title.
Here are the odds at Bodog to win the NFC East this season.
Dallas Cowboys 3.75/1
The Cowboys no longer have T.O. in the fold and while they will miss his production they will not miss his drama. Tony Romo has the talent, but he has to show he can win when it counts and not just in the regular season. In his career games in December Romo has 22 interceptions to just 11 touchdowns and add to the fact he has zero playoff wins. With T.O. gone Roy Williams has to turn into a #1 WR. RB's Marion Barber and Felix Jones have to be solid this season and pick up some yards on the ground. Dallas ranked 8th on D last season led by sack leader DeMarcus Ware, but the loss of DE Greg Ellis may hurt.

New York Giants 2.65/1
Eli Manning is now the highest paid player in the NFL, but who will his #1 WR be now that Plaxico Burress is gone? 1st round pick WR Hakeem Nicks needs to step up right away and produce. The Giants re-signed RB Brandon Jacobs in the off-season and he has to stay healthy. There are question marks on offense, but the Giants defense should be stellar. They ranked 5th last season and they will get DE Osi Umenyiora back from a knee injury and they signed free agents DT Chris Canty, DT Rocky Bernard, and OLB Michael Boley. The Giants are stacked and look to get back to the Promised Land, but it will not be easy in the NFC East and with a new WR corps.
Philadelphia Eagles 2.9/1
The Eagles had a great off-season in their draft picks and trading for All Pro LT Jason Peters. Donovan McNabb had a solid season and the Eagles rewarded him with a 2-year contract extension. He has a couple new weapons in 1st round pick WR Jeremy Maclin and 2nd round pick RB LeSean McCoy, who may be THE man in Philly if RB Brian Westbrook does not recover from off-season ankle surgery. The Eagles D ranked 3rd last season and they should be awesome again, especially up front, but the loss of FS Brian Dawkins may hurt.
Washington Redskins 6.75/1
The Redskins are the major wild card in the NFC East. Their season may come down to how QB Jason Campbell performs. He is in a contract year and he has to play well or he may be playing elsewhere next season. The Skins have a solid RB duo in Clinton Portis and Ledell Betts and their WR corps is decent, but it all comes down to Campbell. The offensive line can help him out, as they allowed 38 sacks last season. The Redskins ranked 4th on D last season and they may be better this season with the addition of the best DT in the game in Albert Haynesworth and solid 1st round pick DE Brian Orakpo.
