After Week 2, the Bills and Jets both looked like a playoff team. The Bills were 1-1 with a win over the Buccaneers and a devastating one-point loss to the Patriots. The Jets were 2-0 with wins over the Patriots and the Texans. But now, the Bills look like one of the worst teams in the NFL at 1-4 and the Jets are headed in the wrong direction as well with two straight losses to fall to 3-2.

Despite those two losses by the Jets - a 24-10 loss to the Saints and a 31-27 heartbreaking loss to the Dolphins on Monday night - they still are playing well and have a promising future ahead of them for the rest of the season. Most importantly, the Jets made a major offensive upgrade last week by acquiring wide receiver Braylon Edwards from the Browns. Edwards made an immediate impact by catching five passes for 64 yards and a touchdown. He also nearly had another touchdown in the fourth quarter but he was ruled down inside the 1-yard line, and he caused a pass interference call near the goal line that led to another touchdown. In all, he was essentially responsible for all three of the Jets' touchdowns.

The Bills looked so great against the Patriots and Bucs, but since a 27-7 loss to the Saints, Buffalo has fallen apart with a blowout loss to the Dolphins and a 6-3 loss to the Browns. The difference has been the offense, which has scored just 20 points in the last three games after scoring 57 points in the first two games.

Trent Edwards passed for 442 yards, four touchdowns and one interception in the first two games. In the last three games, Edwards has 500 yards, one touchdown and five interceptions.

Terrell Owens was supposed to help upgrade the Bills offense, but that hasn't been the case. Owens has just 12 catches for 202 yards and one touchdown. His four catches against the Browns were a season high. Owens will likely struggle against the Jets as he will be facing cornerback Darrelle Revis, who has shut down the likes of Randy Moss, Andre Johnson and Marques Colston already this season.

Before Braylon Edwards came to New York, the story for the Jets was their defense and their quarterback. Rookie QB Mark Sanchez has been quite impressive thus far, other than a three interception performance in the loss to the Saints. First year head coach Rex Ryan brought his defensive brilliance to the Jets and it is working so far. They have one of the top defenses in the league, led by linebacker Bart Scott, safety Kerry Rhodes and Revis.

Both teams play two running backs primarily. The Bills split Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch, who was suspended for the first three games of the season. The Jets split Leon Washington and Thomas Jones, who has five touchdowns this year.

The Bills have the fourth worst rushing defense in the league, allowing 154.6 yards per game. Both the Bills and the Jets have top 10 pass defenses, both allowing less than 200 passing yards per game.

The Bills are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, but also 2-6 SU in their last eight road games. The Jets are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games. They are 7-2 SU in their last nine road games and the total has gone over in five of their last seven home games.

The Marasoft Pick: Bills plus 10 points
The Bills get healthier on Defense this week and the 10 points is way too much for a divisional game.
