Odds To Win The BCS Title

The college football season is a few short weeks away and now is the time to make your futures bet so you can get the best odds possible. Let's take a look at the favorites to win the BCS Championship.

Florida Gators +200
Florida is the favorite this season to win the BCS title and they look to repeat as national champions. QB Tim Tebow is back and the defense returns 11 starters and to say the Gators are stacked is a major understatement. The big question mark is finding a playmaker to replace Percy Harvin. The Gators do not play a tough early season schedule, but their 5th game of the year is their biggest playing at LSU.

Texas Longhorns +400
The Longhorns may still be holding a grudge about not playing in the BCS title game last season, as Oklahoma got the nod even though Texas beat them in the regular season. The Longhorns offense should be awesome again with returning QB Colt McCoy and WR's Jordan Shipley and Malcolm Williams. There will be many new starters on defense and they will need to gel since the Longhorns play a tough schedule. However, they play Oklahoma at a neutral site and they face Kansas at home and finish the season with a huge game at Oklahoma State.

Oklahoma Sooners +600
Heisman winning QB Sam Bradford returns, but OU lost 4 starters on the offensive line and 3 of their most productive WR's. The Sooners running attack is stellar with RB's DeMarco Murray and Chris Brown, who both rushed for more than 1,000 yards last season. Their D may be much improved this season and they will need to be with all the stacked offenses in the Big 12. The Sooners play a tough early season schedule hosting BYU in their first game and playing at Miami (Fla.) in their 4th game. Besides playing Texas in the Big 12 they have to play at Kansas and at Nebraska.

USC Trojans +700
USC has many new faces on both sides of the ball and new starting QB Aaron Corp has some big shoes to fill with Mark Sanchez now in the NFL. The front line of the D returns no starters, but there is lost of talent. The Trojans' secondary will lead the defense and they may the best secondary in the nation. USC's 2nd game of the season at Ohio State has HUGE national title implications.

Ohio State +1200
QB Terrelle Pryor is now the starter of the Buckeyes, but the offense will have to replace their 2 main WR's and RB Chris Wells. RB Dan "Boom" Herron will be counted on to move the chains this season. The D is solid, especially in their secondary that returns 3 starters. They host USC in the 2nd game of the season and their biggest game in the Big 10 is at Penn State.

Mississippi Rebels +1500
The Rebels may have one of the best offenses in the nation this season led by QB Jevan Snead and exciting playmaker WR Dexter McCluster. The main concerns for Ole Miss this season are the offensive line, which returns only 2 starters, and the secondary, which ranked 10th in the SEC in pass efficiency last season. Their 2 toughest conference games are at home against Alabama and LSU.

Other teams that have decent odds to win the BCS title this season are Notre Dame +2000, Alabama +2500, LSU +2500, Virginia Tech +2500, and Penn State (+3000).
